High Rental Value Tuesday

Just wanted to give you some quick picks to rent this week.

If you missed Inside Man while it was in theatres defiantly take time out to rent it. It's your classic bank robbery/hostage movie with a little twist. Denzel and Clive Owen give solid performances and Spike Lee delivers another excellent story in what seems to be a trend of main stream movies.

Brick is a movie you would have never heard of, if it wasn't for me. (I think I've posted about it twice already) I am going to buy it today. I would love for you guys to check this one out and let me know what you think(good or bad) It's so different from anything I have seen in a long time. I would be interested in hearing what you folks have to say.

Well, now you have something to watch this week besides Big Brother. Not that I watch...Big Brother...Anyway....

I just realized that comment about Brick was kind of "smug". I didn't mean it that way. I just meant you probably wouldn't hear many people put it on their "hot" rental list. Thanks.

Haha, I'd heard of it.

Brick was kind of hard to swallow (no pun intended). I liked the dialogue and the juxtaposition of a complex murder/drug scheme set to the tune of high school drama. But I can't say I loved it. I'm stuck on the fence with this one.
